Governing AI and Copilot in Power Platform
The questions leaders should ask before AI becomes part of every workflow.
Copilot and agents are changing how solutions are designed, built and used. Governance needs to evolve with them — not arrive after the first incident.
Make the risk conversation concrete
Ask what data the AI can access, who can act on its output, and how a person can challenge or correct it. These questions turn “responsible AI” from a slogan into an operating practice.
Build a feedback loop
AI governance should include monitoring, testing and a clear path for reporting unexpected behavior. Give makers patterns for grounding responses, controlling permissions and documenting important decisions.
Start small and learn
Choose a few high-value, low-risk use cases. Establish success measures and review them with security, legal and the teams using the solution. Responsible innovation is a continuous practice, not a launch checklist.
